“Everyone come here”, pierced the shrill voice in everyone’s ears.
Everyone reluctantly left their seats one by one, every face showcasing a different emotion, proud, confident, scared, worried, happy, content, strategic and so on.
He got up last, with no expression on his face, few lines on his forehead showed tension but the slight dimple on his left cheek gave the hint of a slight smirk. He quietly walked little steps and stood at last in the queue, not entertaining any queries that others tried to shower him with.
The queue moved slowed and the expressions of the one who were now free to go showed a completely different set of emotions : joy, grimace, silent smiles, relief….
Finally his turn came up. He walked up next to her, looked up her with tons of expectations in his eyes as he placed his notebook on the desk in front. Few seconds passed, his fingers played with each other nervously and feet tapped the floor at every third seconds. After another few seconds he saw her scribble something on his notebook, at very corner of the page. She closed the notebook and gave it back to him with a smile. He immediately opened it and ruffled through the pages and looked at what was written with red pen over his pencil handwriting.
“Excellent!!”
The face of the seven-year-old lit up with elation. His first story ever got the best remarks in the class.

Happiness is more than just a word. As we grow old we often forget to take notice of little moments of joy and feel bliss out of random things. Here’s an attempt to find something hidden in the little corners of heart… 💕
Let’s make this world a happier place, with one story at a time!
