“…and the King died the next morning for his injuries couldn’t be cured. If only the love of his dearest wife would have been enough to save him”, the teacher ended the story.
“But then what happened to her?”
“Did she remarry?”
“Ofcourse, she wouldn’t have, she loved the King so dearly.”
“But the King had three wives… what happened to others?”
“What happened to the kingdom?”
“Who was the heir?”

The children bombarded her with the questions of their imagination. She thought about a minute before picking up the answers from her imagination.“The other wives accepted their fate as the widow and devoted themselves to raising their children with a good upbringing. But she was not the one to accept what was offered on her plate of destiny. She fell in love once again. With her son as her only strength as the rest of the wives and all the ministers opposed her, she fought tooth and nail against everyone to claim her love. But then too the road wasn’t easy. The kingdom wasn’t ready either to accept her decision, for it went against the laws of nature and the rules of the society”, she paused to see that mixture of emotions the faces of her students displayed.
“It was wrong on her part to fall in love again”, someone spoke.
“But who did she fall in love with?”, asked another.
“What was her struggle? Couldn’t she leave with her love. It would have been peace for everyone”, suggested one.
“Well, you see this was not just any kind of love we see in our lives daily”, she resumed, “ the day her husband died, one more person had died that day and that was the King. With no King and no immediate heir, the ministers were divided over the opinion as to who shall rule the Kingdom that was facing dangers on all its borders at the moment. It was then when she stepped forward. It was then when her love for her kingdom was greater than her grief. It was her struggle of being what she was ,just a wife to the King, to becoming the Queen.
