And Then There Were None
She stood transfixed as he left her hand, turning to walk away forever. Within seconds, the person who was world to her became a stranger in the crowd. Moments ago, she had him by her side or so she had thought. There had been dreams of a new life ahead but Fate intervened and then there were none. A few minutes later another train arrived and she was lost in the sea of people walking towards their destination. What was her destination? She asked herself. Right now, her life was nothing more than a blank canvas devoid of all colors.

My theme is READER’S IMAGINATION: you hear a book’s name and your imagination takes you the world of your own. The world your imagination creates which is totally different than the world which author has created in the book.

And Then There Were None – Agatha Christie
First, there were ten – a curious assortment of strangers summoned as weekend guests to a private island off the coast of Devon. Their host, an eccentric millionaire unknown to all of them, is nowhere to be found. All that the guests have in common is a wicked past they’re unwilling to reveal – and a secret that will seal their fate. For each has been marked for murder. One by one they fall prey. Before the weekend is out, there will be none. And only the dead are above suspicion.

Read your post but couldn’t comment. Will hop over again.
Such a sad little story. I have never read And Then There Were None, but I have seen several of the film adaptations – it’s a great murder mystery.
