Press The Pause Button Please- The Sunday Scroll #22
Hi all,
Hope everyone is doing good. For me, I am a mixture of happiness and sadness right now. Nah, I am not spilling all the beans at once. But one reason is that the feature that had started a weekly feature has become more of a monthly. And I don’t know who is to blame; ofcourse me who else! 🙁
The new place, new office, new work, new priorities, new schedule and almost every new thing that has recently made appearance in my life, has changed quite a lot of things. First to suffer is my blog ofcourse. I can feel the guilt rising again. Oh! I hate it so much. But the life here is so fast, I feel like I’m running all the time to catch up as hours, days and weeks pass by so swiftly.Everyone seems to be running after Time and Time is flying with the speed of light. I wonder where whole week goes and weekend arrives. I seriously need someone to press the Pause Button. But on the other hand, it’s not even a month I’m here. Strange! Seems like Time is tricking me! 😛 Amidst this rush, Happiness sneaks in slowly walking and taking me along on the ride for office escapades and new city exploration. No, I’m not bunking office if you thinking that way! But exploring the city (even if it’s in small installments) you live in, is equally important, isn’t it??? Here’s a glimpse of Delhi that my eyes could capture admist the hurry!

And the good news continues as Winter has finally decided to take leave and the February has taken the charge to replace the coldness of January by the warmth of its Love. Yah, the Festival of Love is again here!
I wonder if Life is moving at this speed, do people really have time to love? I wonder if the meaning of Love is still alive or totally lost. Do people have time to even pause and reflect, what love is? People don’t have time to love themselves these days, what else can anyone expect. Isn’t self-love, most important of all? Obviously it is, if we can’t love ourselves then what kind of love would we give to those who expect it from us. So this V-day, start with loving yourself. Gift yourself that precious gift of time and propose peace to be with you life long. Dare to fall in love with yourself because falling for others is too mainstream!
Meanwhile I found this doing rounds on social media! 😛

So, what do you plan this V-day? What are your thoughts about Love?? Do share?
Until Next Sunday,
Keep Smiling!
Sorry to hear you won’t be with us as often; however, write when you can and don’t feel guilty about it. Exciting if you have newness in your life including a job and a city, so have fun exploring! 🙂 Yes, V-Day does or rather, can make single people feel ‘bad’ about themselves, i.e., not good or worthy enough for a relationship. However, at this time in my life, I choose to be single – just over five years now since my last relationship – as for one, I’m too busy with life! For example, blogging and choir (two of them) come to mind, not to mention my full-time work and household responsibilities, etc. etc. Definitely self-love is where it’s at and where it all begins. 😉 <3
take it slow dear, new things takes a lil’ bit of time to settle down. but once they do, you will get your life you love back 🙂
Nibha where in Delhi are you posted? We should meet up!! I live in Noida but my workplace is in CP… 🙂
Don’t worry sometimes life takes over..everything will be settled in some time 🙂 And valentine’s day is just another day to be happy for both couples and singles !
Aww.. Nibha, welcome to corporate life 😛 But do write! At least on weekends! 🙂
The joys of corporate life, eh? I’m so glad I’ve left that behind. As for V-Day, no comments. 😀
Hope you find time to write more, soon, Nibha.
I’m so glad you are finding time to write here even with the new busy schedule. Wish I had done this when I started to work years back. Blog whenever you can, Nibha. With more work life will sure get hectic. Writing will bring you peace. 🙂 We will be here to read all about your new adventures. 🙂
Some times life goes by too fast. As long as you are posting it is fine. I too am not big on V day. Just another ordinary day.
Welcome to Delhi,a city of diversities.I have lived my whole life here. We, Delhi and I have grown together.I love the city. You will also come to love it soon..
