The Sunday Scroll #8

Sunday Scroll

Hi all,

Its Sunday time again. The week that started with the uncertainty of journey on unknown date ended up on duller side of life. The day after day passes by waiting for clouds to take over the Sun that is shining mercilessly! With showers of relief over parts of country, my city still awaits its turn to dance in rain.

With this week passing away, the month of May passed away too. What a month it was! A perfect blend of college life and life at home with struggles and happiness thrown in equal measure. The month started with finals getting over followed by celebration and fun. Trip back home was relaxing as ever. Spending vacations doing nothing is joy in itself! But like all good things come to an end, these days ended too (a bit early this year) when I boarded the train back to Bhopal. There were some first time experiences which surely taught a lesson.
Apart from moving on with the normal life, good times started rolling. I learned no matter how smalls steps we take towards our dreams, it matters. Its the time we stop walking that the dreams remain unfulfilled. With a step closer to my dreams I started to believe in them with a renewed power! I know I will reach where I want to! So what happened exactly?
I had submitted my story for the Anthology of short stories based on Social issues. The good news knocked the door saying mine was selected to be published. Yes, I became one of the contributing authors for The Crumpled Voices- Shades of Suffering!

Crumpled Voices
I was still pinching myself to reality, when I got to know that my entry was selected for The Online magazine: Writer’s Ezine, June Issue that comes out tomorrow! Frankly, I bad totally forgotten about it after pressing the submit button! And here it came as a surprise! 🙂

So far so good this month was! Let’s gear up for the month of June.

P.S. Please God, apart from showering blessings, do shower some rain!

Until Next Sunday,

Keep Smiling!
