Unexpected Gift!

Here’s another diary entry of the ordinary girl. Lets read it together..




			Dear Diary, Today my happiness knew no bounds. Why? Well the reason was quite big and I had to be happy for it! Life was usual since last few days with happiness and sadness taking turns on me. But what I would name this feeling is pure joy with due to credits to my best friend. She wasn’t in touch for last few days which I took it for her being too busy with her studies. I, myself was engrossed in the ongoing fest preparations such that I didn’t get time to contact her. But as it came out today that she was indeed busy not in studies but in planning this surprise! After a tiring schedule when I entered my room, I wasn’t surprised rather shocked. She was sitting there happily munching Lays-American Onion, her favorite. Yes, it was totally unbelievable! I pinched myself twice to realize the reality of it! Out of joy I hugged her. And then followed the questionnaire of how, when and where! She had been planning this surprise as my pre-birthday gift. This planning involved all my friends and family and I was the only one who was oblivious of this. My friend, who always had a spare key to my room, had let her sneak in while I was away! After the initial pleasantries, we were back in our skins and got busy chatting about the topics sensible and insensible both! We went for dinner, a perfect girls only time doing all.possible crazy things we could. 😀 That’s the best part of being with a best friend is! You totally forget about all the problems and rest of the world creating your very own one. Even the worst thing seems better with the best friend. And when you meet your best friend after a year or so and that too unplanned, the feeling just can’t be described in words! I may be surprised or shocked, With a lovely gift in hand; Joy was unexpectedly unlocked, By my lovely Best Friend! Ordinary Girl.
