The Sunday Scroll #3

Sunday Scroll

This week had a dull start and even duller end. Fun was lost as the seriousness of exams took over. But the light moments squeezed out of dull routine made life worth living.
There are a few things that I learned relearned this week because we all know best realizations come during exams.
#1 No matter how tensed you are, just a voice from your parents and all the worries melts away.
#2 Siblings are the best stress-busters, forget all other theories. (friends don’t get offended, next is about you only)
#3 When you are try to drown yourself into sea of books, friends are there to pull you back and make you breathe (i don’t know swimming so i didn’t even take the risk of creating that sea in the first place)
#4 Nothing can make you do group study, it always end up in group discussions that are least related with the subject at hand!
#5 Maggi is the tastiest thing that you can get during exam fever and Sleep will be the perfect escape!
#6 Speaking of Maggi, You will miss home a lot during exams and the home-made food even more (specially when hostel mess gives you delicious(read-inedible) food to eat and you can’t eat out).
#7 You can’t go out and have fun even if you are fed up of studying because the guilt will kill you later. So, you are basically left with the only option of staring at the wall while being stuck in your room!

(This is a bit off topic but worth a mention )
#8 Some people are meant to be your friends and destiny will make way for them to enter your life, no matter where they are and where you are, because distance doesn’t matter in friendship.
#9 Sometimes you have to take the risk of trusting someone and opening up a little bit because the other person might be as insecure as you on taking the first step and you might lose a great friendship if you don’t give it try.
#10 Little things will hurt you deeply because mind works extra hours during exams!

Well enough said for now, time to attend the call from textbooks now.

Hoping that you will keep reading the Diary of an Ordinary Girl, next week too. Time for me to sign out now!
Keep Smiling until we meet again!

  1. aah I hate study holidays! they r those period when u can neither study nor enjoy!! n nibhz, u dont hav to go out during exams.. staring at the wall seems like the most exciting thing in the whole world!

  2. oh, the good old exam times……..surviving them as a student was a tough job but now when I look back, they are some of the best memories of my college days – Maggi, group study, stuck with mess food, etc.- all brings a smile 😀
