Turning One!

Well, time just fly so fast. I still remember this blog was born out of suggestions from when they read my poems(Read them here). I didn’t find the idea very interesting. May be I wasn’t ready yet to share what I felt with the whole world out there. But the blog was born and just like a new born baby it slept for quite long intervals initially before it actually bloomed to life. I know some of you might hate me for my ignorant behavior towards my very own blog. But to be true, initial blog post didn’t get me any visitors, reviews, comments or criticism of any form; which surely discouraged me. I knew nothing of blogging and knew nobody in blogosphere. It was a blind start that lead no where but into darkness.

After more than few months did I realize that my blog deserved my love just like I needed some Me-time. Words were now fighting to be out of my head. This time they couldn’t be suppressed. I had to unleash them and my blog was the only way out. So, I revived my blog.
It was then I stumbled upon Write Tribe and saw the world of infinite possibilities. A world full of opportunities was waiting for me and I didn’t even know! And from then on there was no looking back. Write Tribe welcomed me with warm hugs and showered all its love. It was guiding light in the total darkness. Support and love from fellow bloggers helped build my confidence as I moved forward with baby steps. I felt it wasn’t only about writing but sharing a part of myself; not just posting but also spreading love and encouraging others too.

My happiness knew no bounds when I received “Liebster Award“. I felt recognized and it was a big boost to my motivation. And then I dared to sign up for the”A to Z Challenge” (if you haven’t signed up yet, join me here!)

So, as my blog officially turns today, I decided I Will give it a little makeover soon(Yah,its birthday gift! :-P) Do tell me if it looks good!
And on this day of celebration, a little vote of thanks: I would like to sincerely thank everyone, right from the people behind its creation to the people who encouraged me whenever I failed. Hope to keep writing and offering you readers lots of wonderful posts ahead. For now, I gotta go! Its celebration time! Cheers until next time!

P.S.- And this post is even more special as it becomes the 50th post on the blog! From the time when I thought I couldn’t write Five to the time now I wrote Fifty! Yayie!!
