Liebster Award!!!

Yayie!!  I am so happy and honoured to accept the Liebster Award nominated by L.C. Aisling from her post The Liebster Award.

L.C. Aisling is a wonderful story-teller. The stories have a touch of reality in them. Apart from being a voracious reader, love of writing grows stronger day by day! Cheers to the wonderful storyteller whose stories are always a delight to read! 🙂

2014-liebster-award

The Liebster Award originated in Germany with the earliest record of it being found in 2010. It is an internet award given by a blogger to a blogger. The meaning of liebster is dearest, sweetest, kindest, nicest, beloved, lovely, kind, valued, pleasant, cute, welcome, sweetheart, endearing; all terms which I would be happy to have associated with me. It’s all about finding and encouraging the new bloggers in the blogsphere!

The nominee can either accept or not however the benefits to the blogger far outweigh the time taken to fulfil the requirements. I for one love awards and enjoy getting to know other bloggers that have not come across my path in the normal course of events.

The really nice thing about the Liebster Award is that it is an award designed to find/recognize new bloggers and welcome them to the world of blogging. A little like taking your basket of scones and going across the street to welcome your new neighbor. It is a really nice thing to do. So thank you Lita for your welcome and welcome in return.

The rules:

(1)Thank the person who nominated you and link to their blog.

(2) You must answer the 10 questions given to you by the nominee before you.

(3) Nominate 10 of your favorite blogs with fewer than 200 followers and notify them of their nomination.

(4) Come up with 10 questions for your nominees to answer.

My share of Questions answered below-

1-What was the last book you read?

The Last book I read was- The Secret by Rhonda Byrne.

2-What time of day are you most productive?

I love writing at nights. The silence of night makes the words automatically flow out of my mind and soar!

3-How do you keep your motivation even in rough times?

During most of my rough times I happen to find motivation in the words of my Parents. A hearty talk with them soothes the soul and inspires me to take on the rough patch of the life. Looking back at my achievements during dull days also prove to be source of motivation at times.

4-On which topic would you rather create poems?

I usually write about life and its phases and the same is depicted in my poems.

5-What was the topic you chose to write about last?

Lately, I wrote on the WriteTribe Wednesday Prompt- She/He was too late. Here’s the post.

6-What topics are you dying to write about?

For now, I so very excited to write for the A-Z Blogging Challenge.  Sounds like fun and I can’t  wait it to begin. Dear April, come soon!

And yaah, I so wish to write something of Thriller and Horror genre. Hope I write it soon.

7-Which historical figure do you most identify with?

Ummm… This one is quite hard one to answer. I am so weak at history. 🙁
May be Sarojini Naidu… just the height though 😛

8-How do you relax?

Well, Relaxing to me means a range of activities I can indulge myslef in. To name a few, Reading, Scribbling my thoughts, Blogging, Listening to music, Watching movies, and the list may not end. And ofcourse sleep!

9-Have you used real people as inspiration or written about? Why?

I might not have directly written about real people but I have often used real people for inspiration because of the variety of inspirations that the people around us offer. One has to just look around and observe.

10-Do you use your own experiences?

Yes, it happens most of the times, and sometimes I don’t even know that the words formed are the product of my own experiences. I realize it later. And I guess, it happens with everyone- somewhere the writings show the deepest feelings of the writer of which writer himself might be unaware of!

I have read The Secret too. Have you applied The Secret in your life. I have and it works. Thank you for sharing this award with me!! Honoured! 🙂 ♥

    1. Thank you 🙂
Well, for answer no. 7, I couldn’t think of anything else! 😛
As far as The Secret is concerned, I tried to apply it, but it hadn’t worked yet. May be I am doing the wrong way. But it has surely changed my thinking processes! I feel more positive now.:)

  2. Thanks for nominating me. But I recall doing that earlier. A friend of mine had nominated me. I’m glad to be nominated for it for the second time now. 🙂

  3. I’m amazed, I must say. Rarely do I encounter a blog that’s both educative and interesting, and let
me tell you, you’ve hit the nail on the head. The problem is something too few men and women are speaking intelligently about.
I am very happy I stumbled across this in my hunt for something regarding this.

  4. This is very interesting, You’re a very skilled blogger.
I’ve joined your rss feed and look forward to seeking more of your great post.

Also, I have shared your site in my social
    networks!

  5. Do you mind if I quote a few of your posts as long as I provide credit and sources back to your weblog?
My blog is in the exact same niche as yours and my users would truly
benefit from some of the information you present here.
Please let me know if this alright with you. Thank you!
