She opened her old bedroom door,
To lock herself somewhere deep inside;
She hugged her baby teddy bear,
Putting her smiling mask aside.

She had walked all through the day,
Wearing her heart on her sleeve;
She could keep smiling whole day,
Even she herself couldn’t believe.

Letting go of all those nagging thoughts,
Her heart let out a heavy sigh;
She gazed out of the window,
Like a bird she wanted to fly so high.

She saw herself in the mirror,
Many things her black eyes haven’t concealed;
Those hidden emotions and broken dreams,
That her tears silently revealed.
