The Sunday Scroll #24

Sunday Scroll

Hi all,

Hope everyone is enjoying the advent of Summers, which is here to stay. No matter how badly we were wishing to dump out winter clothes to welcome Summers, soon we would wishing if Winter could have stayed more. Humans, are never satisfied no?? So Summer is bringing April along with it. Ah! April! We all know what April means to the blogosphere, right??? It’s not just April but it’s The April!! The April with teaches us new meaning of A-Z, The April which brings new friends and rejuvenates the old ones, The April that makes us super-busy, The April that wants us to leave everything aside and just blog, The April that teaches to deal with challenges…Yes, This April is here.. Doesn’t feel like that an year just went by and another April is here knocking at the door! Time flies, I guess, and it flies real fast! Well, this frenzy led me and my friend Swathi to eat each other’s head and spending every waking hour to discuss about the AtoZ challenge! We finally settled on one thing and revealed our theme a few days ago! Are you participating? Is there any theme you are following??

Let’s come back to real life now… Have you ever felt your age? Like there is someone who looks up to you, for inspiration, for advice, for help.. like your words mean so much to them.. I felt that recently. My little sister just completed her board exam recently. It was her boards that ended and I felt more relieved than her! ๐Ÿ˜› It was my daily routine to wish her for her exams, encourage her when she felt low, give her words of wisdom, tell her not to worry and the list goes on.. All this made me realize the other side of being an elder sister whichย was the responsibility of my actions and words. I suddenly felt older. I felt how different that bond of two sister has grown to be now. My sister is finally becoming my friend, that I always wanted her to be! ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ˜€ Keeping our cat fights aside, always know that I Love you little angel, and don’t worry you will fly with beautiful wings!

In last few days, I noticed how blindly we Indians worship the game of Cricket. With on-going World Cup, I saw people bunking office to watch the match and cheer up the Men in Blue (myself being no different! ๐Ÿ˜› ) Theyย couldn’t make it to Finals but can we really their efforts that took them to Semi-finals? Should their one failure stop us to #BleedBlue? But we don’t take failures in good spirits, do we?? Not-at-all! Whether it’s our own or someone else’s…Life taught me that people are with us only when you win, not when you lose. And those who are there with you when you lose will be the ones who will be there for ever.. so if you can’t support anyone when they lose, you shouldn’t support them when they win either. It’s as simple as that: If you stay then stay put no matter how life situations out be..

Amidst this Cricket fever that gripped the nation we did manage to steal a day or two continue our motto of exploring the city. Apart from sightseeing I finally fell prey to the charming street shopping of the city that attracts every youngster, atleast for once. And one thing I observed for sure, street shopping sometimes gets you things and experiences that shopping in malls never can! ๐Ÿ˜› ๐Ÿ˜€ I hope you will agree to this, what say??

So how was your month of march?? What’s your plans for April?? Is there anyone who looks up to you?? What’s your advice to him/her?? What’s your take on failures in life??? Do share!!ย

Until Next Sunday,

Keep Smiling!

  1. April is a month when I can relax – after financial year-ending frenzy, work load at office is reduced; then I have the Bihu holidays coming up which means I will get to go home and have fun ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. April? Definitely A to Z on both my blogs! ๐Ÿ˜€ Loved your scroll this time and yeah, I #StillBleedBlue , #AlwaysBleedBlue ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ Happy AtoZ, Nibha! Let’s have some fun <3
